Today is the reveal day for de Bead Soup Blog Party 2017. For this party my partner is Karin King and she is from Canada. This BSBP 2017 (Hosted by Lori Ardenson) is a little bit more different than the previous parties. For this occasion, instead of send new art beads, we have to select from these beads that you have been hoarding for a while. Very interesting… right? Soon, 🙂 Lets see what Karin sent me. 🙂
I love the color combination and the lampwork beads. And look at those head pins!!! I really fall in love with my bead soup. Now, I wan to show you the bead soup I sent to Karin….
I sent her few art beads that I’ve bee hoarding for a while…. specially that Jade Scott pendant. And why not, some enameled filigree beads 🙂
And now…. I wan to share with you what I create with the bead soup Karin sent me. Hope you like it. 🙂
First… I designed a chocker style necklace with the lampwork beads……
My second piece is a another necklace, but this time is a long one… Using the vintage beads she sent me and adding some enameled filigree bead from my own stash..
And finally two pairs of earrings 🙂
Well, this is all for now! Hope you like the designs and don’t forget to visit Karin King Blog and the rest of the participants Here.
Little bit quiet here….. but not out of business!! During 2016 I create my second business, Bee Rustique & Chic, for my line of jewelry. And I want to share some photos of different crafts shows I participated and the difference jewelry displays I used.
Finally the day is here… Reveal Day! 🙂 First of all is you want to read the first part of this story click here to meet my lovely partner Kari Asbury from Hippie Chick Design. So first of all I want to show you what I sent to Kari….
First of all, I create a summer theme for Kary. I design the mermaid clasp with some pearls and corals and some starfish like clasp and earrings or connectors. Additionally I create a teardrop pure copper chain, add some czech beads and enameled beads. Everything in bright and joyful colors.
Now, I want to show you what Kari sent me 🙂
Immediately I received my beads I fall in love with everything. The wood and the ceramic beads colors are just perfect. The first bead that catch my eyes was the wood beads with Alice in wonderland theme. I personally enjoy and love Alice in wonderland story; mostly, the recently Disney movie.
And here are the photos of what I create!
I really had fun working with the beads. I feel free when I use fabrics, leather, ceramic beads and copper wire. I love to add whimsy touches for every design.
Well, I hope you enjoy this post. Please don’t forget to visit the Kari’s blog to see what she create with the beads I sent to her.
Hello my friends! Today I want to show you a new design. Yes, earrings!
I feel more confortable creating bracelets and necklaces. But for this occasion, I decided to create this design. The main reason why I create it is for a basic metalsmith class I took with Monique Michel, a local artist with more than 30 years in the jewelry design industry. And it was one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had.
The butterflies are made of brass ( I cute them out by hand, using a jewelers saw) and soldered to a 20ga half hard sterling silver wire. And finally, add czech beads. I like them so much 🙂 What you do think?
Take photos to earrings it’s a little bit tricky and I know I need a little bit more of practice. But that’s a topic for another day. 🙂
I’m planning to add some earwires to my next Etsy shop update, that will be March 31, 2016 @ 5:00 PM (Eastern Time)
“Still Life with Pussy Willows” is the name of this beautiful painting, create by Taisia K. Afonina a well renowned Russian Artist. This is kind of painting that I love and enjoy most, specially for the flowers, the colours and that feeling of a peaceful home. It’s a reminder that spring has arrive with colours, flowers and birds.
And talking about colours, here’s the color pallet for this challenge.
Just perfect! 🙂 Beautiful color combination. Now.. I initially told you that I’m participating for this challenge, right? ABS, has two categories; jewelry entries and beads. And I design one art bead, in two different color for this challenge and a bracelet.
Let’s see first the art beads..
Lovely! Right? A create another with a dusty teal color.
Those are my art beads entries for the challenge. And now, I want to show you my jewelry design..
This is my beautiful bracelet made with wire, art beads and a lovely bird connector. I create this design with art ceramic and lampwork beads from Caroline Dewison – Blueberribeads (I’ve been hoarding those beads for a long time ago) Beautiful and unique fabric from Liberty Haberdashery and some of my enamelled beads with my signature bird bracelet conector, made of brass.
Well, this is all for now. I hope you had fun! 🙂
See you, until the next post!

This is my first Party and it was so remarkable. For this occasion I have been honor to participate to this Blog Party with my lovely partner Judy Riggs. We swap beads and want to show you what I sent to her…..
And Judy sent me these fabulous beads ……
The first thing that I see in these beads was the colors. So rich and bright that inspire me, not only to make the BSBP final pieces, but also inspired to play with other colors combination for my own designs, like this flower that I made.
The other thing is my first time to make pieces with lampwork beads. I’ve been hoarding some lampwork bead for a while. I love them but I found that I was having problems to incorporate them to my pieces. But now I have the wonderful time and opportunity to play with some of them. And what better to do with the beads that Judy sent me!! 🙂
This is what I finally create!! 🙂
