Today is the reveal day for de Bead Soup Blog Party 2017. For this party my partner is Karin King and she is from Canada. This BSBP 2017 (Hosted by Lori Ardenson) is a little bit more different than the previous parties. For this occasion, instead of send new art beads, we have to select from these beads that you have been hoarding for a while. Very interesting… right? Soon, 🙂 Lets see what Karin sent me. 🙂
I love the color combination and the lampwork beads. And look at those head pins!!! I really fall in love with my bead soup. Now, I wan to show you the bead soup I sent to Karin….
I sent her few art beads that I’ve bee hoarding for a while…. specially that Jade Scott pendant. And why not, some enameled filigree beads 🙂
And now…. I wan to share with you what I create with the bead soup Karin sent me. Hope you like it. 🙂
First… I designed a chocker style necklace with the lampwork beads……
My second piece is a another necklace, but this time is a long one… Using the vintage beads she sent me and adding some enameled filigree bead from my own stash..
And finally two pairs of earrings 🙂
Well, this is all for now! Hope you like the designs and don’t forget to visit Karin King Blog and the rest of the participants Here.
See you!! 🙂
Did you remember my post about 8th Bead Soup Blog Party? Well, the past saturday Lori published the second group of participants with their partners. And guess what…. I have my partner!!!! Yay!!!!
My partner is Judith Riggs a lovely lady who have a lot of experience making jewelry and have been participate previous BSBParties, so that gives me a lot of confidence.
Judith is from Martinsburg, West Virginia and she works mostly with amazing lampworked beads in brightly colors. You can see it in her Etsy Shop.
That’s one of the reasons why I decided to participate to the BSBP; the fun way and the unique opportunity to meet new people who love what you love… It’s Fabulous!!!
Here’s a photo of what Judith made for the past party.
And… for this party this is what I sent to Judith today!!!
Oops sorry… 🙂
Really!!! Well this one of the fun part. I’m going to show you later once Judith see them first….
Stay Tuned!! 🙂
Finalmente, ya tengo la oportunidad para participar en el 8vo Bead Soup Blog Party!!! Y… en qué consiste este evento? Pues bien, les explico…
(Finally, I have the opportunity to participate in the 8th Bead Soup Blog Party! And. .. what this event? Well, let me explain …)
(This event is create by Lory Ardenson, a jewelry designer from the United States. This a once a year event where the participants are paired. Then they send a quality package of beads to one another and make one or more pieces of jewelry with those beads. Later, all the participants post their creations on the reveal day.)
Este es el octavo año en que se realiza esta actividad y, para mí será el primer año en participar 🙂 Por lo que les invito a que conozcan cómo va desarrollándose el evento, quién será mi compañera (o) y cómo luciran las piezas. (This is the eighth year this event is held. For me, its gonna be the first time!!! So, stay tune for the next days to see how is going. If you like to read more information about this event or want to participate visit www.beadsoupblogparty.com )
